What is the Children’s Ministry Leadership Course?
It is a unique 12-week residential training course, which can be taken in two parts, that will equip you for a gospel-centred ministry among children.
What subjects does it cover?
- The Biblical basis of child evangelism
- Evangelising today’s child
- Helping the local church reach out to children
- Child development studies
- Innovative ministries to reach and teach children
- Teaching a Bible lesson to children
- Problems children face in a contemporary world
- Pioneering, establishing and building a children’s ministry
- Training others to reach children
- Working with teens
Who is CMLC for?
- Christians interested in the evangelism of children and their growth in grace.
- Those who feel called to a full-time ministry with Child Evangelism Fellowship.
- Missionaries or missionary candidates interested in the evangelism of children and training teachers for this ministry.
- Bible School students who wish to supplement their training with an intensive course in child evangelism.
Conditions of Acceptance
- Born again and seeking to live a faithful Christian life,
- In agreement with the CEF Statement of Faith,
- Good Bible knowledge and some experience in evangelism,
- Active in children’s ministry,
- Able to cover the costs of the course.
The next English speaking CMLC will be September – December 2026 in Seaview Camp and Conference Centre, Kilkeel, Northern Ireland.
